The Vision: Build, Don't Buy
The operating principle is simple: every paid barrier becomes an internal tool, and every internal tool becomes a potential standalone product. Instead of accumulating SaaS subscriptions that drain capital and lock us into someone else's roadmap, we invest that energy into building solutions we fully own, fully control, and can ship to others.
This philosophy has already produced three products that graduated from internal tooling into standalone platforms with their own Stripe billing and customer-facing interfaces:
DebtShield
Started as our internal debt recovery letter generator. Now a full platform at debtshield.subscruber.com with two Stripe products, automated dispute workflows, and a shared Supabase auth layer.
DisputeAI
Born from our insurance claim dispute automation. Evolved into a standalone product at disputeai-blue.vercel.app with four Stripe products covering credit disputes, debt validation, and cease-and-desist generation.
SubScrub
Our subscription audit scripts became a consumer product at subscrub-tau.vercel.app. Scans bank statements for recurring charges, identifies cancellation opportunities, and generates recovery letters.
